the girl who does not listen
dear middle child, why don't you listen. why don't you listen to others. you cut into conversations with such gusto, you simply block others out. life is not just about you alone, being the center of attention. Learn you must, to listen patiently to others and not be rude and cut into others. listen earnestly, sometimes you simply condescend obliviously perhaps to yourself but not to others.

lost.
deep down the concealed basement, i bade her an awkward goodbye. empty thoughts and idle limbs. what if... i thought after sitting on the sterile seat. the thoughts floated around for a while. to leave or to stay, hmm maybe a while longer. suddenly i saw the little lady that sat at far end. eyes meet for a brief moment.
i left for the main lobby. left.. right.. right.. left.. it was a maze and i am in it. i finally understood those white mice. yes, i'm waiting for the electrical jolt. i finally mustered my lab rat sized courage and took a brave step into the swinging doors. behind me, the lady squeaked: "no girl! its up!"
